The word Reiki is a combination of 2 Japanese words Rei and Ki. Rei is often translated as Universal and Ki as Energy so we have “Universal Energy”. This energy is channeled through the Reiki healers body and flows through the healers hands into the appropriate area of body.
For example a headache could have several causes both physical, such as a digestive disturbance, or emotional, due to stress.
Reiki is a spiritually guided life force and will guide itself to where ever it is needed whether that is in the Body, Mind or Spirit. Thus assisting with physical and emotional well being
